Creative

On modern ad platforms, the creative is the targeting.

Algorithms have got good enough at finding buyers that what you show them now decides performance.

Direct answer

Ad creative production covers the static images, video and copy that paid campaigns run on. The requirement is not a single polished asset but several genuinely different angles produced continuously, because creative fatigue is the main cause of declining performance in a working account.

02 · Detail

Why volume and difference both matter.

Testing three colour variations of the same idea is not testing. Real creative testing means genuinely different angles: a different objection addressed, a different proof offered, a different audience spoken to. Those produce different results; palette swaps do not.

Fatigue is measurable and inevitable. A creative that works will decline as the audience sees it repeatedly, and the decline is faster on short-form video platforms than anywhere else. An account without a production rhythm will always drift downward.

This is why we usually fold creative into the media engagement rather than treating it as a separate project, particularly for Meta and TikTok, where the creative carries most of the performance.

03 · How it works

How we produce.

  1. 01

    Angles first

The different reasons someone might buy, before any design work starts.

  2. 02

    Format per platform

Vertical, square and horizontal are different edits, not exports.

  3. 03

    Batch production

Several variations at once, because testing needs volume.

  4. 04

    Test and read

Which angle produces sales, not which gets engagement.

  5. 05

    Iterate on winners

Variations of what worked, plus new angles to replace what is fading.

04 · Fit

Who creative production is for.

It fits any business running paid social or display where the creative carries the performance: Meta, TikTok, YouTube, programmatic. It fits accounts that have plateaued or declined with the same assets running for months, and accounts about to scale that need enough variations to test properly.

It fits companies with a brand identity to work within and companies without one, in which case the identity work usually comes first so every asset does not have to be reinvented. It fits in-house media teams that need a production partner rather than another agency managing the account.

It is a poor fit as a one-off. A single polished asset is not what paid platforms reward; a continuous rhythm of genuinely different angles is. We structure production as a cadence, not a project.

05 · Common mistakes

The mistakes we correct first.

  • Colour variations called a test. Real testing means different angles: another objection, another proof, another audience.
  • One format exported everywhere. Vertical, square and horizontal are different edits with different first seconds.
  • Production value over clarity. Native-looking content with clear audio often beats polished film on social platforms.
  • No fatigue monitoring. Cost per result rising with a stable audience means the creative is exhausted. Replacement should already be ready.
  • Creative judged by engagement. Likes and sales are different metrics. The winning angle is the one that produces revenue.

Creative is the targeting on modern platforms. Treating it as an afterthought to media buying is the most common reason a working account drifts downward.

06 · Measurement

How we measure and report.

Each angle is reported by cost per result and by age, so what works, what is fading and what needs replacing is visible before performance drops. Formats are compared per platform because the same idea behaves differently in each.

Production is planned in batches against the media calendar, with the next round briefed from what the last round taught.
